2025 Policy & Leadership Forum

On September 15-17,  join us in Washington, D.C., for the 2025 IAA Policy & Leadership Forum — a combination of our Adviser Advocacy Day and Leadership Forum. The Forum will bring together senior leaders from investment adviser firms for a high-value program featuring a range of thought leaders discussing policy and business issues of critical importance to the industry. Attendees will also have the opportunity to join peers from like-sized firms to share best practices during our perennially popular breakout sessions.

General Session topics include:

  • Signed, But Not Settled: Why Tax Policy Battles Will Continue Beyond 2025
  • Peer Breakouts – Organic Discussions among Attendees from Like Firms
  • Navigating the Changing Demands in Wealthcare
  • An Intelligent Approach to Artificial Intelligence
  • Global Economic Outlook and Industry Impact
  • View from the Top: Firm Leaders Discuss Opportunities, Challenges, Industry Future
  • What’s Next for the SEC? Insider Views on Regulation, Enforcement, and Reform
  • Congress Speaks
  • Visiting the Hill with Confidence: Everything You Need to Know!

Additionally, the IAA will take members to Capitol Hill to meet with their legislators. Since 2007, IAA members from across the country have traveled annually to Washington, D.C., to directly influence federal public policy. Research shows that these in-person visits are most effective with lawmakers who are undecided on an issue. In fact, 94% of congressional staffers agree that nothing makes a greater impact on legislators than meeting with constituents like YOU. The IAA’s Capitol Hill visits offer a unique opportunity to engage with your elected representatives. Now, more than ever, it’s crucial to personally advocate for your policy priorities.
