Strengthening Advisers’ Voice on Capitol Hill
The Investment Adviser Association Political Action Committee (IAA PAC) is the voluntary, non-partisan political action committee whose mission is to educate Members of Congress about the concerns and interests of federally-registered investment advisers. IAA PAC plays an important role in the IAA’s efforts to promote advisers’ interests – by supporting lawmakers who play critical roles regarding our legislative and policy priorities and helping ensure that they will consider our views before they cast a vote.
Federal elections law prohibits corporations and trade associations from contributing funds to federal campaigns. Through IAA PAC, executives at IAA member firms that have given us advance written authorization are able to make personal contributions that collectively strengthen advisers’ voices on Capitol Hill.
